Here’s my mini January 2025 round up as shared on Notts TV! January can feel like a long month after the fun and festivities in December but there are still some great events happening and lots of fun ways to entertain the kids. Panto!
If you thought Panto season was over – well ‘Oh No it Isn’t!’
There is still some local Panto to enjoy including Jack and the Beanstalk at Nottingham Playhouse (until 18th Jan) and Cinderella at Mansfield Palace Theatre from 11th-19th Jan.

Beeston Light Night
Beeston Light Night takes place on January 25th from 6-9pm. There will be installations, performances and displays all around the theme of Poetry and Fire. A map of all the event locations is available here

Blue Monday at Red Kangaroo
Apparently Blue Monday is supposed to be the most depressing day of the year but Red Kangraoo trampoline park (now part of the Oxygen group) are cheering us all up with free entry all day on Monday 20th January.

Walking with the Snowmen at Clumber Park
If you’re still clinging on to the last bits of Christmas cheer then the Snowman trail has been extended to 31st January at Clumber Park. The trail is included with entry (£5 adults, £2.50 children over 5, free for National Trust members). You can find 12 beautifully painted Snowman sculptures. More info here

Conkers Light Trail
A bit further afield in Derbyshire, Conkers are putting on an after dark light trail that is included in your daily admission ticket! Available weekends until 9th February. More details here
